Tutor: Denise Brislane
Denise is currently seconded to Oide, where she works as a Professional Learning Leader on the Digital Technologies Primary Team. In this role, she supports and delivers professional learning that promotes effective and innovative use of digital technologies across primary education. Denise is involved in several key national initiatives with Oide, including BRICS (LEGO Spike Essentials and Robotics), the AR/VR “Dive In” project in collaboration with Mary Immaculate College, and Formative Assessment for Digital Portfolios (FADP). Her work also includes contributions to AI for School Leaders and involvement in the planning and delivery of the Digital Festival of Learning 2026. Denise has a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence for learning, teaching, and assessment in primary schools, with a particular focus on supporting teachers to integrate digital and AI‑enhanced approaches in meaningful, ethical, and effective ways.
