The theme for this year’s event is ‘Creative Transformation’.

A keynote address on 'How are we building Critical Thinking Skills, Dispositions and Relationships in our Learning Spaces in the shadow of Artificial Intelligence?' will be delivered by Mary Loftus from Atlantic Technological University Sligo.

We will also have a panel discussion on AI in Education moderated by Dr Conor Galvin with input from Niall Larkin, Roisin Beaver, Simon Lewis, Patrick Hickey and Natalie Doyle Bradley.

Breakout workshops and presentations will also be delivered throughout the day by practicing teachers, lecturers, and researchers.

The schedule for the day, including further details of all the sessions, can be found at https://ictedu.ie/conference-24/schedule-24/.

A pre-conference STEAM Evening will take place on the evening before the conference, Friday 10th May, from 6.30 – 9pm on the Thurles campus of TUS.  This informal evening of exploration focused on learning through making in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) area will provide opportunities to develop creativity, problem solving and collaboration skills. The STEAM Evening is a free event.
