Presentation on the use of Smartphones amongst primary school children and general Online Safety

The Department of Education is hosting an information evening for parents/guardians of primary school pupils.

The focus of this event is to enhance Online Safety and initiate conversations around the use of Smartphones.

Webwise, a department-funded service for schools and parents/guardians, will present available resources to promote safer and more appropriate online use.

The Department of Education will then conduct a facilitated discussion with Dr. Maureen Griffin B.A., M.A., PH.D. Forensic Psychologist, on Smartphone use.

LOCATION: Limerick Education Support Centre, 1st Floor, Marshal House, Dooradoyle Road, Limerick, V94HAC4
