Online Safety Webinars for Parents
For Safer Internet Day 2023, Webwise will be hosting two FREE online safety webinars for parents of younger children, and for parents of teens.
Supporting Children Online - February 7th @ 8pm
Webwise in partnership with the National Parents Council Primary are delighted to organise an Online Safety Webinar for parents of young children. The webinar will discuss the opportunities and risks for children online, offer practical advice to support parents and answer some frequently asked questions. The Apple team will also provide a short explainer on Parental controls and some key safety features.
This webinar will take place on Tuesday, February 7th at 8pm.

Supporting Teens Online - February 21st @ 8pm
Webwise; the Irish internet safety awareness centre is delighted to host the Talk, Listen, Learn Online Safety Webinar for parents/guardians of teens.
The webinar will explore the opportunities and risks for children online, offer practical advice to support parents, highlight key resources/supports and answer some frequently asked questions. The TikTok Safety team will also provide a short explainer on how TikTok works and some key safety features.
