Biodiversity in the Primary Classroom - Desmond College
The Biodiversity in Schools Summer Course is designed for teachers to be able to link Biodiversity to the SESE curriculum. This course will enable teachers to develop an understanding of the natural environment within the school grounds and of the local area. Teachers will learn and develop a wide range of skills in identifying many groups of animals and plants. It will also be focusing on why Biodiversity is so important and why we need to conserve it. The course will highlight the biological services it performs and the economic value it provides. This course will be of benefit to those school teachers who are developing a Biodiversity Plan for their own school.
