The Gap Between Knowing and Doing: Building Habits That Actually Stick

The Gap Between Knowing and Doing: Building Habits That Actually Stick

Most of us know what we should be doing for our wellbeing - and yet the gap between knowing and doing remains stubbornly wide. This session explores the psychology of behaviour change, examining why good intentions so rarely become lasting habits, and what the research tells us actually works. Honest, practical and grounded in evidence.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Have an understanding of change and habit formation - and what helps change stick.
  2. Apply simple, evidence-based strategies to build wellbeing habits that fit realistically into their own lives.
  3. Use these principles in the classroom to help students build positive habits in their life, study and homework
