Thinking in Patterns. Exploring Autism and Cognitive Strengths!

Discover the unique ways individuals on the autism spectrum think, process, and perceive the world. This one-hour webinar, "Thinking in Patterns," will explore how pattern-based thinking is a cognitive strength often associated with autism. We’ll delve into how this perspective manifests in problem-solving, creativity, and learning, and how educators, parents, and support staff can harness it to empower autistic individuals. Whether you're a teacher, SNA, parent, or professional working in inclusive settings, this session will provide insights and practical strategies to foster environments that celebrate neurodiversity.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Identify key characteristics of pattern-based thinking commonly observed in individuals on the autism spectrum.
2. Explore strategies to leverage pattern recognition and thinking strengths in educational and everyday settings.
3. Develop inclusive practices that support diverse cognitive styles and encourage the development of individual strengths.
