Tech Tuesday Series - The iPad & Google Workspace

This practical workshop, for post-primary teachers, will focus on how to use the iPad and Google Workspace to enhance opportunities for collaboration in teaching, learning and assessment.

Please note that this is a practical, hands-on course which will take place in-person in Limerick Education Support Centre.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Use Google Jamboard to facilitate real-time collaboration. 
2. Use Google Slides to collaborate and create resources.
3. Explore Google Sites as a digital portfolio.
4. Reflect on the flexibility of the iPad to offer opportunities for collaboration and innovation. 

Facilitator - Patrick Hickey

Patrick is an Apple certified teacher, a Google Certified Educator, a Trainer, Innovator and Microsoft Certified Educator and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. Patrick has a huge passion for using technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment. Patrick has researched the experiences of students with physical disabilities in Irish schools and is very passionate about inclusive education. He has a huge interest in using I.C.T to provide greater opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
