Using Edpuzzle as a Formative Assessment Tool while Enhancing Learner Engagement

Using Edpuzzle as a formative assessment tool while enhancing learner engagement

More than 65% of students are visual learners, and +95% of your students watch YouTube regularly. Videos are a powerful resource for teaching and learning.

EdPuzzle is a formative assessment tool that allows teachers run a flipped classroom, assign videos for homework, or encourage asynchronous communication. Edpuzzle is a free online platform that allows teachers create or use predesigned video content to access student knowledge, promote active learning, promote engagement in and outside of the classroom. Edpuzzle also allows teachers track student engagement, progress and understanding.

This webinar would suit teachers from either a primary or post-primary background who are interested in learning about Edpuzzle and integrating in into their classroom practice.

This webinar will cover:

  • How to set up an Edpuzzle account and class
  • Managing your Edpuzzle class
  • How to source, design and edit video material
  • How to share material with students
  • How to track student progress
