Limerick Education Centre and the National Centre for Guidance in Education are delighted to offer a 3-part series of webinars free of charge for Post-Primary Guidance Counsellors. The webinars will be interactive in nature and will provide an opportunity for discussions on the topics discussed. Practical resources will be made available to all attendees.
Webinar 1 : An ABC of Digitalised Guidance Linking with Pedagogical Best Practice

The links between traditional 'face to face' guidance and contemporary digital guidance are reflected on in this webinar. The overall aim of this session will be to reassure guidance counsellors of the consistency of their role, despite the approach/platform. In addition, some key points on how to begin to set up a digital guidance service are referenced.

Webinar 2: Adapting the Whole School Guidance Plan to include Digitalised Guidance

Webinar 3: The Legalities of Digitalised Guidance Counselling
When: Monday 16th November 2020 at 4:30pm
This session will build on session 1 and 2, and will highlight key issues where the legalities of remote or digitalised Guidance is concerned. The aim of this session is to ensure Guidance Counsellors are fully aware of all contemporary legislation and publications and to support well-informed digitalised practice.
