The Cecil Woodham-Smith Concern Worldwide Creative Writing Competition 2008

To mark the 40th Anniversary of their Founding Concern are launching an annual competition for students to write about global issues. The theme for this year is 'A World Without Hunger'

The Task

It is the year 2058, you are asked by one of your grandchildren 'what was the biggest human achievements in your lifetime; without hesitation you reply 'it was the year hunger was finally ended.'

To enter write an essay or a short story explaining how hunger was eradicated from the world, entitled "A World Without Hunger"
